Like my first two books, this one is filled with short, mostly fun, true stories about life and business which draw on my experiences in private, public and nonprofit organizations.
War, conflicts and military writers provide the backdrop in this book. After all, war has been around forever. In fact, after religion, war has been the most studied topic in all languages for centuries.
In this book, we relate war to business along with war to people issues and vice versa.
The chapters and stories range from my personal heroes to the Chinese writer Sun Tzu on training a harem. My favorite chapter deals with spies, mercenaries and saboteurs from history to today.
Along the way will be some of the fascinating people I have worked with. Friends from Donn, USG, and IMC will especially enjoy certain stories.
Hopefully, readers will find this unique subject and approach both interesting and entertaining.
War, after all, occurs not just between nations but in business and among people and, of course, in a zoo.
